Kids Can Draw Amazing Things

Shadows

 The stages of development that kids go through when they are learning to draw is amazing.  I am fascinated watching my son attempt new techniques.  

Often, the quality of his artwork goes down right before he attempt something new.  The black figures in this pictures are his attempts at drawing shadows.  The guy in the bottom left turned out pretty good.  The scribbles on the top were explosions.  He was making sound effects as he was drawing.  

By the way, I've never mentioned a word to him about shadows.  Why is he doing this?  I don't even draw shadows in my drawings.  Kids are amazing.  Kids can learn to how to draw amazing things on their own.
